Maize and blue fans bemoaned the lack of recruiting fireworks in the month of May, but Michigan football tends to get the celebration going in the months of June and July.
The Wolverines have added some pieces to the 2026 puzzle in recent weeks, with players like St. Louis (Mo.) DeSmet four-star defensive tackle Titan Davis, Chicago (Ill.) Simeon four-star edge rusher McHale Blade, Liberty Hill (Tx.) four-star defensive tackle Alister Vallejo, and Columbus (Ohio) St. Francis de Sales running back Jonathan Brown pledging to the class. But the maize and blue are still short on offensive skill position players, with just Brown and wide receiver Jaylen Pile committed.
Perhaps that’s set to change in short order.
On the heels of garnering predictions that he’ll end up wearing a winged helmet, Mansfield (Tx.) four-star wide receiver Zion Robinson announced that he will be making his commitment on Wednesday, June 25 at 12:30 p.m. (presumably CST).
Robinson appears to be deciding between Michigan football, Miami, Stanford, and Nebraska. Here’s the scouting report from 247Sports’ Gabe Brooks:
