Defensive Back CJ Hester a Gators commit

The Florida football program added another top prospect to its 2026 recruiting class on Thursday when four-star safety CJ Hester committed to the Gators. His verbal pledge makes him the 16th member of the cycle to set their sights on Gainesville.

The 6-foot-1-inch, 185-pound defensive back out of Cocoa (Florida) chose the Orange and Blue over the likes of the Auburn Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, Syracuse Orange and Iowa Hawkeyes, among a total of 6 schools that had formally offered him a scholarship.
