Alabama football has landed another blue-chip defensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class.
Having already secured commitments from four-star edge prospects Jamarion Matthews and Kamhariyan Johnson, and three-star interior defensive lineman JJ Finch, Alabama added a commitment from Mississippi four-star Nolan Wilson on July 4. Wilson chose the Crimson Tide over USC, Miami, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Auburn.
Wilson, Alabama’s No. 18 commitment of the 2026 recruiting class, is ranked as the No. 58 player nationally and the No. 6 defensive lineman overall per 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Alabama was Wilson’s first offer, one the Crimson Tide extended after the defensive lineman visited for Alabama’s 2024 win against Georgia. The Crimson Tide hosted Wilson for an official visit May 30-June 1.
Wilson is one of seven top-100 commits in Alabama’s recruiting class along with Matthews, Georgia five-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds, Gadsden four-star cornerback Zyan Gibson, Georgia five-star linebacker Xavier Griffin, Jackson four-star running back Ezavier Crowell, Illinois four-star tight end Mack Sutter and five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan.
Since 2021, Alabama has signed six Mississippi natives, including both defensive lineman London Simmons and running back AK Dear in 2025.
