Youth football players hoping to attend former Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins’ football camp won’t be able to any longer. That’s because the second-round selection of the Cleveland Browns canceled the camp “due to unforeseen circumstances,” according to a report appearing in the Columbus Dispatch.
The camp was supposed to take place on Tuesday, July 15, but Judkins was arrested on domestic violence charges over the weekend and has since posted bail and will await further legal action. He was booked on a misdemeanor charge of “touch or strike/battery/domestic violence according to court records.
The camp was supposed to take place at a suburban Cleveland high school and also feature a meet and greet at a Cleveland bar, according to WKYC, a local Cleveland television station. The alleged incident occurred in an SUV near the Fort Lauderdale airport on July 7.
There is still no word on any penalties, suspensions, or fines from the NFL as it waits to see further facts of the case come out and how things play out legally. As more becomes available, we’ll bring it to you.
