Three of Auburn’s 2025 opponents are featured in the debut coaches poll that was released Monday.
The debut US LBM Coaches Poll for the 2025 season has officially been released, and Auburn fans will be excited to find that the Tigers are close to a top-25 nod.
The poll, released Monday, shows that Auburn received 50 votes in the initial release. The Tigers join four other SEC squads, including Oklahoma and Vanderbilt, by being just outside of a top-25 ranking. In all, nine SEC teams earned a top-25 ranking while five others received votes. The only programs not to be included in the debut poll in some fashion are Mississippi State and Kentucky.
Auburn will face three teams ranked in the preseason poll, starting with Texas A&M on Sept. 27 in College Station. The Aggies will begin the season ranked No. 21 after finishing last season unranked. Auburn will then face No. 6 Georgia two weeks later on Oct. 11 before ending the season with No. 17 Alabama on Nov. 29. Auburn’s season-opening opponent, Baylor, joins Auburn in receiving votes in the debut poll.
