The preseason accolades continue to roll in for Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Ryan Williams.
On Monday afternoon, Williams was among the 46 total players named to the 2025 preseason watch list for one of the top individual honors in college football, the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. Williams has also received honors this offseason such as the Maxwell Award preseason watch list.
The lone Alabama player on the watch list, Williams is coming off a stellar freshman season in which he hauled in 48 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns as the Crimson Tide’s top receiver, while also rushing for 48 yards and two more scores.
Alabama has won the Walter Camp Award three times before, which came via Derrick Henry (2015), Tua Tagovailoa (2018), and DeVonta Smith (2020).
