The preseason US LBM Coaches Poll ranks several of Cincinnati’s 2024 opponents.Arizona State, Kansas State, Iowa State, BYU, and Texas Tech are all ranked in the Top 25.
The first US LBM College Football Coaches Poll by USA Today has been released and it includes several opponents of the Cincinnati Bearcats.
From the Big 12, Arizona State, Kansas State, Iowa State, BYU and Texas Tech are included. UC defeated Arizona State 24-14 in last October’s Homecoming game at Nippert Stadium, but lost road games at Iowa State,, Kansas State and at Texas Tech.
Arizona State tops the Big 12 entries at No. 11. The Sun Devils finished 11-3 last season with one of their losses coming against the Bearcats. Kansas State is at No. 20 after a 9-4 season which included a 41-15 win over the Bearcats. Iowa State sits tied with Texas A&M for No. 21. The Cyclones beat UC 34-17 last fall thanks to a pair of late touchdowns. BYU lands at No. 23 and Texas Tech, a 44-41 winner in Lubbock last September over the Bearcats is No. 24.
