The top overall defensive line prospect in Georgia’s Class of 2026 has committed to play college football in College Station, Texas.
It appears he’ll have some company.
Tristian Givens of the Carver (Columbus) Tigers committed to Texas A&M on June 21, and the highly-regarded five-star edge rusher is ranked as the No. 24 overall prospect nationally at any position by 247sports.com. That makes him the top defensive lineman in the Peach State entering the 2025 season, but he’s not the only future Aggie in Georgia’s prep ranks this fall.
Two weeks after Givens made his pledge, fellow five-star Buford Wolves’ defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright – the second-highest rated defensive lineman this fall in Georgia – also announced his plans to play at Texas A&M. He and Givens join four-star Jordan Carter of the Douglas County (Douglasville) Tigers who’s been in the Aggies’ corner since October 27, 2024.

Givens (6-3.5, 215 lbs) and Perry-Wright (6-2, 250 lbs) are both considered can’t-miss talents who figure to make immediate impacts in 2026 on the hallowed ground of Kyle Field in College Station. Carter (6-4, 235 lbs) is a four-star prospect who also projects as a starter, and it’s likely that he’ll crack the Texas A&M lineup sooner rather than later, too.
That could mean that a future Aggie defensive line will feature three Georgia boys in starting roles not too far from the heart of talent-rich Texas.
