Michigan State football to host top 2028 safety Jayden Evans

Michigan State football is gearing up for the 2025 football season, and while the games on the field are the most important task at hand, the ability to show off the program in a strong light for recruits is also a major task.

While a host of visitors have been announced for the first few weeks of the season, the Spartans have just added one of the biggest recruits to the visit ledger of the cycle.

Jayden Evans, one of the top prospects in the 2028 class resides in the state of Michigan, and MSU has their sights set on him. A 6-foot-1, 170 pound safety from Harper Woods (MI), he is currently ranked as the No. 158 overall recruit in the nation according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

According to a report from 247Sports Allen Trieu, Evans will be visiting East Lansing for week two against Boston College.

Currently, Evans holds notable offers from Colorado, Kansas, Ohio State, Pitt and Texas A&M.
