On3 selected two players from LSU football to its 2025 preseason all-transfer portal team.
Wide receiver Barion Brown and safety A.J. Haulcy made the cut. They are among nine selections out of the SEC. LSU is one of six schools with multiple selections, in addition to Auburn, Oregon, Florida State, Missouri and Texas Tech.
Brown and Haulcy were a part of the nation’s top transfer portal class during the 2025 cycle. Head coach Brian Kelly’s staff took a bold approach to recruiting the portal in order to rebuild position groups with experienced players.
Following three years at Kentucky, Brown was the portal’s No. 16 overall prospect and No. 5 wide receiver. He totaled 625 receiving yards as a true freshman and was a bright spot in a rather tame offense last year, making 29 catches for 361 yards.
Haulcy committed to the Tigers during the spring portal window. Baton Rouge will be his third stop following a true freshman season at New Mexico and two years at Houston. Over three seasons, he played 2,121 defensive snaps.
