The Georgia Bulldogs have dropped to the No. 10 team in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Georgia lost 28-10 against the Ole Miss Rebels, who are somehow ranked No. 11 behind Georgia despite both teams having two losses.
Oregon Ducks remain No. 1. The Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked No. 2 and the Texas Longhorns are ranked No. 3. Tennessee is ranked No. 4. Georgia hosts Tennessee next week in a top 10 clash. Penn State checks in at No. 5.
In this scenario, Georgia would still be in a position to make the College Football Playoff as the No. 11 seed, but remember the playoff committee will rank Georgia behind Ole Miss. The second edition of the playoff rankings will be released on Tuesday.
