Four-star running back Damarius Yates – who is ranked inside the top-150 players nationally in the 2026 recruiting class according to 247Sports’ Composite – has committed to Ole Miss, he announced on social media Sunday.
Yates, a De Kalb, Mississippi native who preps at Kemper County, is the No. 125 player in the 2026 class and the No. 11 running back, per 247Sports' Composite. The 5-foot-9 1/2, 179-pounder ran for 1,339 yards and 15 touchdowns on better than 10 yards per carry last season for the Wildcats. Yates was previously committed to Mississippi State.
Yates is the second blue-chip 2026 recruit to commit to Ole Miss in recent days, as four-star linebacker Izayia Williams committed to the Rebels on May 2.
