The Oregon Ducks are hoping that the next couple of months will be filled with recruiting wins during the offseason, and one of the biggest targets on their board is set to commit during that time.
5-star athlete Brandon Arrington, the No. 1 ranked CB in the 2026 class, announced on Thursday that he will be making his commitment official on July 5. He is down to a final group of schools that consist of the Ducks, the Penn State Nittany Lions, Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas A&M Aggies, and USC Trojans.
Arrington plays at Mount Miguel in Spring Valley, California, so distance has not been an issue for him in the Ducks’ recruitment. Arrington has been out to Eugene a number of times already, and will take his official visit on June 13. He is rated by 247Sports as the No. 9 overall player in the class.
Arrington has a chance to be one of the staples of the Ducks’ class if he commits to Oregon. Dan Lanning and his staff are after other 5-star players like OT Jackson Cantwell, and QB Ryder Lyons, while they already have a commitment from 5-star TE Kendre Harrison.
