5 SEC players lead the 2025 Heisman odds

BETMGM just released its betting odds for the 2025 Heisman Trophy, and five SEC players have made their top 10 list, leading off with Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning.

Arch Manning, quarterback (Texas) +600

Manning is everyone’s pick to win the Heisman at +600. Many already think this is a can’t miss pick for the Heisman. If he wins the award, he’ll be the first Texas player to take home the trophy since running back Ricky Williams won it in 1998. He would also be the first member of his family to win the award. Both his uncles and grandfather were all Heisman favorites at one point in their college careers.

Garrett Nussemeier, quarterback (LSU)+900

Right behind Manning in second place is LSU QB Garrett Nussemeir. Nussemeier seems to be also high on everyone’s list, including NFL scouts who rave about Nussemeier’s strong arm. Last year, Nussemeier threw for over 4000 yards and 29 touchdowns. It might be tough for him to win the Heisman with so many good QBs in the SEC this year, but don’t be surprised if he is the third LSU QB in six years to pull off this feat.

LaNorris Sellers, quarterback (South Carolina)+1600

LaNorris Sellers was fifth on this list, which may come as a shock to some, but he is very highly touted because of his dual-threat ability. He almost led the Gamecocks to their first appearance in the College Football Playoff, and he is one to watch out for this upcoming season.

DJ Lagway, quarterback (Florida)+1800

DJ Lagway’s Heisman odds will depend on if he can stay healthy. He’s been battling the injury bug since last season, when he had a breakout year for the Gators. But nagging injuries may sideline him even to start the season, which may hurt his Heisman odds.

Gunner Stockton, quarterback (Georgia)+2000

The surprise name on this list is Gunner…
