Nebraska football quarterback recruit Trae Taylor debuted as a four-star player in the Rivals rankings earlier this week. The class of 2027 prospect made the announcement on his social media page.
Taylor is the 14th overall player nationally, the top player in the state of Illinois, and the fourth overall at his position per the Rivals rankings.
The quarterback threw for 3,061 yards, 20 touchdowns, and seven interceptions for Carmel High School. He averaged 278.3 yards per game, according to statistics from Maxpreps.com.
Taylor has previously spoken highly about the Huskers program and has visited Lincoln multiple times. They recruited him heavily last year and appear to continue to do so as they look for another signal-caller to add to the program.
This recruitment will certainly be one to watch as his stock rises. Nebraska has done a good job of stocking the quarterback room for the future, and Taylor would be another fantastic get.
