Alabama football commit Chris Booker shuts down recruitment

According to a report Sunday night from On3’s Hayes Fawcett, long-time Alabama Crimson Tide football commit Chris Booker has officially shut-down his recruitment.

Booker was one of the first member’s of Alabama’s 2026 class to commit to the Crimson Tide, doing so back in February of 2025.

At the moment, Booker is considered as the nation’s No. 287 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, per the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings, as well as the No. 32 player in the state of Georgia where he attends Hapeville Charter School. A four-star prospect, Booker also ranks as the nation’s No. 22 interior offensive lineman.

Booker is one-of-two offensive linemen currently committed to Alabama in the 2026 cycle, joined by fellow four-star Sam Utu.
