Stadium evacuated, game postponed after shots fired near game in Ohio

A high school football stadium in Ohio has been evacuated as a precaution after shots were fired at an apartment complex behind the stadium.

According to WBNS TV, Franklin Heights High School in Columbus was hosting West High when Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of shots on Demorest Road, right behind the stadium. No shots were fired at the stadium.

A spokesperson with South Western City Schools told the station that after the stadium was evacuated the game was postponed. No details of a makeup date are available.

The station is reporting that no arrests have been made and that additional details are not available.
