While the Georgia Bulldogs unfortunately missed out on five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan, who recently committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, their 2026 recruiting class remains incredibly strong. Alabama was the favorite to get Morgan but Georgia put up a solid effort to sway him leave his home state. Morgan also considered Auburn, Colorado and Florida.
The Georgia wide receiver class right now consist of four-stars Craig Daindridge, Brady Marchase, and Ryan Mosley with the potential add to five-star Kaiden Prothro tight end/wide receiver to the class as well. This wide receiver class can be seen as a solid core four if the addition of five-star.
Despite this setback, the Bulldogs are still on track to secure a top-three recruiting class nationally. With an impressive 26 commits already, Georgia’s 2026 class currently holds the second-highest ranking in the nation. This demonstrates Kirby Smart and Georgia’s continued success in attracting top talent, even after top talent like the five-star receiver chooses another school.
Meanwhile, Alabama has the No. 6 recruiting class in the country. The Crimson Tide have 17 total commitments and the third-best recruiting class in the SEC.
