Michigan State football is the latest power four program to extend an offer to a 2027 running back prospect from Ohio.
Kenyon Norman of West Chester, Ohio announced on Friday that he has received an offer from the Spartans. Norman made the offer from Michigan State known by posting on his social media X account.
Norman is an unranked running back prospect on 247Sports at this time in the recruiting cycle. He plays for Lakota West, and is listed at 6-foot-0 and 195 pounds.
Michigan State is one of more than 10 schools to extend an offer to Norman, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Indiana, Maryland, Iowa, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Kent State, Miami (OH), Southern Miss, Toledo and Western Michigan.
At this time, Michigan State doesn’t have a commitment in the 2026 class at running back. So, that position will certainly be a focus for the Spartans in the 2027 cycle as they can’t go two years in a row without signing a running back out of high school.
