Four-star offensive tackle recruit Ekene Ogboko is ranked at the No. 6 player at his position in the country. Ogboko has been logged a prediction to commit to Georgia, per On3’s Steve Wiltfong.
Ogboko’s brother, Nnamdi, is a redshirt freshman defensive tackle at Georgia, is coming off an official visit to Athens. He has also taken official visits to Clemson and Florida. With his brother currently playing for the Bulldogs, Georgia definitely has a leg up on the competition.
The 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive lineman has excellent length and size. Ogboko plays high school football for South Garner High School in Garner, North Carolina. Ogboko is the No. 40 recruit in the nation.
Georgia is making it a priority to secure multiple offensive lineman, so that can bring increased competition throughout the offensive lineman room. Ogboko, Malaki Lee, and Breck Kolojay are all among the Bulldogs’ top remaining offensive line targets.
The Bulldogs have recentlylanded a pair of offensive linemen in three-star offensive lineman Zachary Lewis and four-star offensive lineman Zykie Helton. They have also landed a pair of kicking specialists in No. 1 kicker Harran Zureikat and No. 1 punter Wade Register.
